Getting started

Mac · a Claude plan with Claude Code · an Elena Bridge workspace

  1. Claude

    Install the Claude app for Mac and sign in with a plan that includes Claude Code: Pro, Max or Team. Claude plans

  2. The Code tab

    Open the Claude app, then the Code tab. Every line below with a slash goes there.

  3. A token

    In the Bridge: Settings, Connect Claude Code, New token. It's shown once, so copy it now. Open the Bridge

  4. The plugin

    In Terminal:

    claude plugin marketplace add elenabridge/elena
    claude plugin install elena@elena

    Or in the Code tab: /plugin marketplace add elenabridge/elena, then /plugin install elena@elena.

  5. Token

    In the Code tab, then paste the token. It's kept in your Mac's keychain.

  6. Setup

    /elena:setup
    • Checks macOS and Python
    • Shows Claude's data setting
    • Asks you four questions, Gmail or Outlook among them
    • Builds your voice from your last sent replies
    • Connects each door, one at a time, any of them skippable
    • Reads your LinkedIn export for Presence, when you chose LinkedIn
    • Writes four task folders in ~/ElenaBridge and creates the six scheduled tasks
    • Starts the WhatsApp sender
    • Runs the first refresh over your last 30 days

  7. The six tasks

    In the Claude app, Scheduled: open each task, set its folder and model, press Run now and choose Always allow on every prompt. Later runs pass without asking.

Gmail or Outlook

  • GmailClaude's own Gmail and Google Calendar connectors, one Google account per Claude account. Google asks for consent once
  • OutlookClaude's own Microsoft 365 connector, for a work or school account in a Microsoft Entra tenant. Mail and calendar

Outlook and your Microsoft admin

  • Connectclaude.ai, Settings, Connectors, Microsoft 365. Then start a new session in the Code tab
  • Admin consentYour organisation's Microsoft admin approves Claude once, for everyone. If that isn't you, Microsoft offers to send them a request, and the connector works the moment they approve
  • SendingThrough the connector when your organisation allows its write tools. Otherwise through Outlook on the web in your Chrome, signed in once at outlook.office.com

Staff Business

  • ArmIn the Bridge, Staff: press the switch on a card, then press again within 6 seconds. Setup never arms anything
  • 24-hour auto replyTick the categories it may answer on its card. Everything else waits for you
  • Opener autopilotArms once you have pressed 30 first messages by hand, on a campaign moved to automate
  • AutoadderIn Audience, Add to autoadder on a person or a selection. It sends to nobody else
  • OffOne press on the switch. A LinkedIn wall halts every LinkedIn automation until you press Resume

Sign-ins and permissions

  • ClaudeYour own login, in the Claude app
  • Gmail and CalendarGoogle's consent screen, once, for Claude's own connectors
  • OutlookYour Microsoft admin's approval, once, for Claude's Microsoft 365 connector

In Claude's settings

  • Help improve ClaudeSettings, Privacy: off for business data. A team is better on Claude Team, under Anthropic's commercial terms
  • Keep computer awakeOn. The refreshes run only while the Mac is awake and the Claude app is open. A missed one is caught up by the next
